Though this is repetitious of some of the information presented in Two Trees In The Garden, and though this information further lengthens an already lengthy writing, it seems only fitting and necessary towards making this writing complete, to take a moment to address the other half of the problem that is inherent with Christianity - the flesh!

If the presence of Satan was not already enough to corrupt the kingdom of God given to man, solely from the mere fact that the kingdom was given to man while in the flesh that is of this earth, was enough to insure that the kingdom would be wholly defiled. Let us see in part what the Scriptures have to say concerning this flesh we live in, this flesh that houses the kingdom of God.

From the Scriptures we find that the flesh is:

• "Hostile toward God" and "cannot please God" (Romans 8:7-8),
• "Sets its desire against the Spirit" (Galatians 5:17),
• Its deeds include the formidable list of - "impurity, enmities, factions (22,000 sects and denominations), anger," and even more (Galatians 5:19-21),
• It is the source of lusts (Romans 13:14),
• Its desires are corrupt (2 Peter 2:10),
• It makes one "a prisoner of the law of sin" (Romans 7:23), and
• Its fruit is "corruption" (Galatians 6:8).

And this is the recipient of the pure kingdom of God? This corrupt flesh is now supposed to take the pure kingdom and glorify God? All one has to do is take a quick look at the church and one will see that the flesh has performed in the kingdom precisely what one would expect - it made the kingdom impure, corrupt, divided, and full of lust and sin. The church, with its sore condition of being placed in bodies that are from this cursed earth, as well as being under the corrupting affects of Satan, is in truth "hostile toward God" and "cannot please God." Yahshua's own conclusion as to His relationship with man and the pure representation of His kingdom is grievously and painfully clear - "But Jesus, on His part, was not entrusting Himself to them, for He knew all men" (John 2:24), even Christian men. Thus we agonize with Paul - "Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from this body of death?"

Earlier in this writing, we quoted the passage in Isaiah 14:29 regarding the Philistines, which states - "For from the serpent's root (the church's very beginning) a viper will come out, and its fruit will be a flying serpent ("the prince of the power of the air")." The Philistines prophetically represent Satan, for numerous reasons. Do you recall that the holy ark of the covenant was taken captive by the Philistines and placed in their own temple to Dagon. So what do we have here? This was the holy in the profane. Is not this precisely what Yahweh has done by giving His Holy Spirit to profane earthly man? And taking this one step further, is this not precisely what Christianity is? It is the holy things of Yahweh in Dagon's temple. Do you know what Dagon was? Dagon was the fish god! Does that sound familiar? The fish that is the sign taken by many Christians is the testimony of Dagon's temple. And for how long was the presence of Yahweh held in that temple? For seven months (1 Samuel 6:1)! Seven is the number of churches in Revelation. This is nothing less than the testimony of Yahweh's holy presence residing in the corruption of earthly flesh and Christianity. Christianity is the ark of Yahweh in the temple of Dagon.

How bad does bad have to look before one begins to get the idea of the GREAT problem that is created by giving the kingdom of Yahweh to men in earthly flesh? What is earthly flesh? Let us see another dramatic and highly revealing testimony. In it we will equally see that there is a direct relationship between the flesh and the one who has dominion over the flesh-occupying church. Once you see this evidence, you will understand even more the GREAT difficulty associated with earthly flesh receiving the kingdom of God.

Man's body comes from the dust of this earth (and to dust it returns). Adam's body was created by Yahweh from the dust of the earth; and each and every body since then (including yours) was equally created from the dust of this earth. Your mother, while creating you in her womb, ate food that either came directly from the earth, or from animals which ate food directly from the earth. Thus your body equally came from the earth, and is maintained from the earth, the earth over which Satan has dominion. Now for a revealing truth.

Within the human fertilization process (the beginning of the creation of the human body), a prophetic and revealing drama is enacted time and time again. Anyone who has looked at a scientific journal, book, or video and seen the minute process of fertilization, has beheld within that drama the graphic problem of earth-born existence.

In Revelation 12:9 we read - "And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him." Now let us see the significance of this drama.

The sperm, which in all appearance and shape looks like a serpent, is "thrown down" to the egg, which in all appearance and shape is a very small world or earth (though infinitesimally smaller). The serpent-appearing sperm enters the earth-appearing egg (both bearing obvious prophetic significance), to produce carnal bodies that in and of themselves are in equal opposition to God as is the serpent! Only Yahweh knows the full extent of Yahshua's words - "You are of your father the devil" (John 8:44).

Certainly we know that this carnal flesh, this earthly body, this product of the serpent sperm and the earth egg, is indeed - "hostile toward God" and "cannot please God" (Romans 8:7-8), "sets its desire against the Spirit" (Galatians 5:17), makes one "a prisoner of the law of sin" (Romans 7:23), is corrupt (Galatians 6;8, 2 Peter 2:10), is the source of lusts (Romans 13:14), and the list goes on! Is it not thus wholly fitting that this corrupt rebellious vessel we receive from the earth where Satan has been thrown down and is master, is given to us by a symbolic "serpent" being cast down to an "earth"? And is it no surprise that when Yahweh gave His kingdom into the hands of men who reside in these corrupt bodies, and who equally have the serpent inhabiting their everyday lives, that the church, Christianity, is identified with the beast with the little horn, that is the devil, the "serpent of old," as seen in Africa, the "snake kingdom"? Oh, can you not see how dire a situation in which the church has been for 2,000 years?

All men from Adam to this moment are born of this earth. This is a great problem! All men to this moment are Adam. The only one who has ever come into this earth who is not born of this earth is Yahshua, the anointed. He was not born of the seed of man, but of the Holy Spirit. Of Him we read - "He who comes from above is above all, he who is of the earth is from the earth and speaks of the earth (which belongs to Satan). He who comes from heaven is above all" (John 3:31). Additionally, Yahshua declared - "You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world; I am not of this world" (John 8:23). Yahshua is singularly the only one who has ever come from above. The seed that produced His body was not carnal, not of the serpent, but distinctly and uniquely the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35).

Man's only hope, the church's only hope in this imposing dilemma, is to enter into the distinctly contrasting experience in which Yahshua came to this earth. He too had a body, but His body was not of the seed of man; He had no association via origin with the little sperm serpent Satan. Clearly, Yahshua told us that He was conceived from above by the Spirit. Instead of the serpent sperm descending on the earth egg, John the Baptist beheld the contrasting testimony - the dove of the Holy Spirit descending and remaining on the Son of God.

This Spirit-conceived birth is exactly what we as mortal men need. This is precisely what Yahshua was saying when in this same conversation with Nicodemus He told him - "You must be born from above." This clear distinction, contrast, and dilemma is seen in Yahshua's words - "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit" (John 3:6). As long as we are in carnal bodies, as long as the church is in carnal bodies, as long as we are in this flesh of the serpent sperm, we will be at enmity with God. We must have new bodies that are born of the Spirit, born from above. Yahshua alone could say He always did the will of the Father who sent Him, because He was not in a body whose seed was from Satan's world. Likewise, we cannot walk as Yahshua walked in full and complete obedience, the church cannot walk in full and complete obedience, until we too enter into a body that has its origin from the Spirit, from above. Could anything be clearer? Man, the church, is in desperate need to get out of this body, and to be born from above by the Spirit!

This completes our study of Yahweh's first sign He will perform in order to cause men to believe - turning the staff into a serpent, and then returning the staff to its original state. This clearly is the first work in the kingdom of God - the sign of Christianity. For almost 2,000 years man has had the sign of the staff-turned-serpent, or the snake on the pole, the snake in the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, or the snake kingdom. And the church awaits the much needed reversal of becoming a staff once again.

Fortunately, this is not the only sign Yahweh will perform to cause men to believe, and thus deliver them from Egypt. There is the promise that if they did not believe this first sign, then they would believe with the second sign. This is a wonderful promise, for there are many in mankind that have not believed after the first sign of Christianity. What will be this second persuading sign? Let us now see.
