We are
going to consider another testimony here per this matter of faith that,
frankly, this man is even reluctant to unfold. Why? Because it
is another movie. This man is very
practical and conservative, and in many ways still that simple ag-boy with a
chew of lamb’s feed in his mouth, and would have been content to have
been driving a pickup in the woods.
But just before this writing, I received an e-mail from someone who
asked me about the movie, The Matrix. Kyle had me to watch this movie shortly
after it came out, but I remembered little about it. But because of the way Yahweh has been using these movies,
and since someone e-mailed me, I watched it, twice, plus examined and
reexamined select scenes.
I do
not watch movies for entertainment, and it is truly amazing how Yahweh has
brought these movies to me at the very times that I needed to see their
message, and The Matrix was clearly no
exception. As you might suspect,
it is very prophetic. Once again, Yahweh
has used the foolish to shame the wise, that which is not to shame that which
is, the starkly secular to shame the religious.
Basically,
the testimony of The Matrix is the same
as the testimony of Unbreakable. Both movies have a black man (Morpheus
and Elijah), a raven, to reveal the identity of the one who stands in the
office of Yahshua (Neo and David).
The testimony here per an Elijah and the twelfth apostle, is simply
another fulfillment of the greater pattern of Elijah and Yahshua. Remember, this is a pattern that is
repeated over and over at all levels.
It is a way of Yahweh. He
uses another to reveal the identity of someone. Even as the Elijah Bride will reveal Yahshua, it is also
true that this man, as a Louie at your window, will reveal you, the Bride. Kyle Nixon was the one who revealed to
me who it looks like I am. I did
not come up with this on my own, for this is the way of Yahweh. Once he said it, based on things in my
life and that which is in me, I saw it.
An Elijah reveals who we are, and this is the message once again
presented in The Matrix. Even as David could not have known who
he was without Elijah, so Neo could not have known who he was without Morpheus.
The
name of the Elijah character, Morpheus, means “to change.” “Morphing” means to change
from one form to another. In the
movie industry, “morphing” is a special effect that changes (or,
morphs) one image into another through a seamless transition. In truth, this is Elijah’s purpose. He restores all things, which is to
“morph,” or even to take them through metamorphosis, which is what
Morpheus did for each of those who came out of the Matrix, particularly for
Neo.
Neo’s
name is equally interesting, for “neo” means
“new.” Thus, what we
are seeing here is the new man.
Christians like to take this character and identify him with
Yahshua. This is understandable
since Neo is indeed in the role as a savior. In fact, the man at his door early in the movie actually
says – “Hallelujah, you’re my savior, man; my own personal
Jesus Christ.” That scene
was not put in there for no reason.
But here is the failure of Neo as Yahshua. Yahshua knows who He is, and He does not have to go through
all the failure and loss and struggling and doubt that Neo went through in the
process of learning who he was.
That struggle is reserved for a son of man.
Neo’s
Matrix name is Thomas A. Anderson.
Obviously Thomas refers to doubting Thomas, alluding to the very
struggle Neo went through in his metamorphosis. But also, Thomas in the Scriptures was clearly a Remnant
type, in fact the two-part Remnant who put their finger in His hand (the first
Remnant) and their hand in His side (the second Remnant who come from the side
of the sleeping body of Christ).
But even more specifically, he is the twelfth apostle who comes later,
even as Thomas came later (John 20:24-29). And since the twelfth apostle is legally identified with
both Remnants, like Thomas he places his finger in His hand (the first Remnant
work), and his hand in His side, placing his hand in the body of Christ and
taking out a Bride. Possessing
both identities, he thus repairs the breach, fulfilling the picture we see in
Thomas. But also, Yahshua’s
statement to him speaks to us
today – “be not unbelieving, but believing,” which is the
message of The Matrix. “Anderson” means “son
of man.” Thus Neo (Thomas A.
Anderson) was – the twelfth apostle, A son of man.
You may
think of Yahshua when you read the title, “son of man,” but far
more so it is a title reserved for man, even as it was used the first two times
in the Scriptures:
God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent (Numbers 23:19).
“If even the moon has no brightness
And the stars are not pure in His sight,
How much less man, that maggot,
And the son of man, that worm” (Job 25:5-6)?
Speaking of a worm or maggot, where was it that Anderson was bugged? Do you think it was without meaning that they placed that bug in his navel, which is man’s identifying mark, his umbilical cord, his link, all the way back to Adam? That bug made Anderson a threat to those who had been delivered from the Matrix, and was why Switch held the gun on him for their protection. As it has been from the beginning, the Adam man is a threat to the kingdom. He is bugged!
And if you still do not believe me that this was, in type, a mere man in this Mr. Anderson and not a type of the Son of God, then where was it they met Anderson when he was bugged in his navel? They met him at the Adam Street Bridge! And from where did they have to extract the bug? From his Adam navel. Yahshua was not from Adam! And what was taking place while all of this debugging was being carried out? It was raining! The latter rain that delivers us from the Adam man curse, the Jordan that piles up all the way back at Adam (Joshua 3:16)! Convinced?
The savior that the man spoke of here in Neo is not Yahshua, but it is His twelfth apostle who as a son of man stands in His office, our “own personal Jesus Christ.” And I concur with the young man – Hallelu-yah!
Christians live in such an incredibly shallow and limited and even distorted understanding. If you ask them any question, their only answer is Jesus. They have no idea what is unfolding on the other side of the veil of His flesh. All they see is His crucifixion, and nothing regarding His resurrection work. He is not just the Jesus we see when He came the first time, but He is and has been becoming something through us. For 2,000 years He has been the afflicted and tormented crucified savior, the body of Christ (The Issue, page 3). But now, He is becoming something else, and this no man has anticipated! He is becoming a man, or as Moses said and Peter recounted – “a prophet like me from your brethren” (Acts 3:22).
Christians cannot see that Neo represents the new man; and that new man is gradually being revealed, even as Neo was revealed. Who then is Trinity? As in the movie, Pirates of the Caribbean, she is Jerusalem above, or even the Holy Spirit. She is Neo’s protector and comforter. And what is it in the end that changes Neo into the man he was chosen to be? Love! “In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us …” (1 John 4:10). It is not our love that prevails, for our love constantly fails. It is His! It is His love for us that will empower us to effect His kingdom today.
It is quite interesting, and probably surprising to you, that the word “love” or “loved” is used in Matthew only eleven times, in Mark only five times, in Luke only thirteen times. But in John, when the true kingdom is fulfilled, is it any wonder that “love” and “loved” is used forty-nine times? Forty-nine is identified with Jubilee. “In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us ….”
Also, quite revealingly, eleven is the number of the former rain apostles less Judas, and thirteen is the number of the latter rain apostles plus the twelfth apostle who takes Judas’ place. Thus the eleven times in first Remnant Matthew and the thirteen times in second Remnant Luke where “love/loved” is used, totals the number of elders around the throne – twenty-four. “In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us ….”
It may also surprise you, and is quite significant, that the word “faith” is not used one time is the gospel of John. Why? As we have seen, John reveals the fulfilled kingdom of heaven; and when it comes, faith is not needed, for faith will have become sight. Faith is for a time when we have to believe for that which has not yet arrived, is not yet seen.
When Neo was changed, when he received resurrection life from Trinity’s love, how did he then see the men and the surroundings? He saw them as the numbers flowing down the Matrix. Before, no one could see any rhyme or reason to the numbers flowing down the monitors; but suddenly, Neo saw the pattern to the riddle of the numbers, and that sight gave him the ability to easily defeat Agent Smith. The victory came in finally seeing the answer to the riddle of the numbers, even as we are seeing the answer to the riddles regarding the kingdom!
And what was the name of the ship on which they sailed in order to escape the Matrix? It was the Nebuchadnezzar. Did you read the bronze plaque that was on the ship? Here is what it read:
NEBUCHADNEZZAR
YEAR 2069
First, would you like to know what Mark 3: 11 says?
And whenever the unclean spirits beheld Him, they would fall down before Him and cry out, saying, “You are the Son of God.”
Who was Nebuchadnezzar? Three times Yahweh identified him as “My servant” (Jeremiah 25:9, 27:6, and 43:10). He also shared the title of Yahshua as “king of kings” – “You, O king, are the king of kings, to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the power, the strength, and the glory” (Daniel 2:37, Ezekiel 26:7). For seven years he took upon himself the affliction that was supposed to come on Babylon (Daniel 4). In one regard, Nebuchadnezzar was in type Yahshua. But also, as Yahweh’s servant/associate, he was a type of “the man, My associate” (Zechariah 13:7). Thus the Nebuchadnezzar and its crew revealed the entire Bride work, whose purpose is to set men free from the lie of the Matrix and deliver and preserve Zion.
And what was the source of life and strength for those who were on the Nebuchadnezzar, but the city of Zion. And the cause for their actions were because the fate of Zion was at risk. And the ultimate purpose of the machines was to destroy Zion, the only remaining threat to their total domination.
Christians have no understanding whatsoever of the Elijah work, the Morpheus. All they see is the all-too-simple picture that Jesus came and died for our sins, and He is coming again. That’s it! Beyond that is – let’s have church. What program will we follow? What song will we sing? Who’s our new pastor?
They have no concept that Elijah must come first; and while he is a man, he is more than just a man, he is a company of people. They have no concept of the government of the kingdom of God. They are like children playing in a room with their toys, and if anything went wrong with the ship, they would not have the remotest understanding that could lead to its repair. How can Christians prepare for Yahshua’s return, if they know nothing about the Elijah? It is simply impossible!
It is interesting that when Neo asked where he was, Morpheus answered instead that it was more important to know when. Neo thought it was 1999, but Morpheus said that it was closer to 2199, or a 200 year breach at the nations level, as unto the 2,000 year breach at the kingdom level!
It is also interesting that the ship was made in 2069, 100 years after 1969, the year I married my bride, the year the awakenings took place, and the mirror number of ’96, the year Yahweh had mercy on man and transformed cursed time into blessed time (Cursed Time and Blessed Time, 1920 and 1996).
Also, in light of this writing, it is interesting how mirrors have such a significant part in the movie. This is also a trait of M. Night Shyamalan; not just mirrors, but he uses other reflections in his movies.
When Neo met Morpheus for the first time, he described to Neo in simple form what the Matrix was – “It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth.” “What truth?,” asked Neo. “That you are a slave, Neo. Like everyone else, you were born into a prison that you cannot smell or taste or touch; a prison for your mind.” Even the company Neo worked for spoke of this. He worked for Metacortex. “Meta” means “change,” and the “cortex” is the outer layer of gray matter on the brain. Thus “Metacortex,” where Neo worked, meant “changing the mind.” Such is the world, including Christianity. It blinds us from seeing the truth. And as strange as it may seem, it is movies like The Matrix that reveal to us in a parable what we as the Bride face in regard to Christianity.
The world and Christianity are a system, even as the Matrix was a system. Later, in a simulated Matrix, Morpheus explained that system. “That system is our enemy,” he said. In like regard, even as Paul declared regarding the Jews, so it is true for the Bride regarding Christianity – “From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of God’s choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers; for the gifts and the callings of God are irrevocable” (Romans 11:28).
Morpheus explained that the very people they were seeking to save, were a part of the system, and that made them their enemy, even as Paul had stated. “You have to understand,” said Morpheus, “most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent upon the system, that they will fight to protect it.” So did the Jews, and so will Christians.
The man who headed the battle against Morpheus and his followers was a man named Smith. In the next sequel to The Matrix, at the beginning of The Matrix Reloaded, the license plate on Smith’s Audi A4 was “IS5416.” The “IS” is an abbreviation for Isaiah, and Isaiah 54:16 says:
“Behold, I Myself have created the smith who blows the fire of coals,
And brings out a weapon for its work;
And I have created the destroyer to ruin.”
Even so, Yahweh has made Satan, the destroyer, to afflict His people. And even as Smith could only be destroyed in The Matrix by Neo entering into him, so the twelfth apostle must step into Satan’s governmental place and from there defeat him. Isaiah 54:17 then goes on to declare:
“No weapon (word or argument) that is formed against you shall prosper;
And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of Yahweh (the Bride),
And their vindication is from Me,” declares Yahweh.
What we are learning here is truth that the raven is feeding us. Yahweh is using the dark side, the raven, even a black man, Morpheus, to tell us truth regarding Christianity and the Bride. Yahweh is preparing a table before us in the presence of our enemy (Satan and his world), and revelation is coming to us through an Elijah. The system of Christianity is our enemy, not the people; but the people can destroy your faith. They are the 2,000 years of the swine church, and the Bride would be wise to heed the words of Yahshua concerning them – “do not throw your pearls (the black pearl) before swine, lest they trample them under their feet (kingdom rights), and turn and tear you to pieces” (Matthew 7:6). This is what they did to my family, and in their prayer groups they pray for calamity to come upon me so I will repent. They may even pray those prayers out of supposed Christian concern, but their prayers reveal what spirit they are of – their father (John 8:44).
Much more could be said here per this amazingly prophetic movie. But having noted all of this, one of the major points of the movie, and the reason it is being considered here, is what we want to address now. What was it that made the gradual difference in Neo? He was in a transition of believing, a Thomas. The more he believed, the more capable he became. This is the path this man is on, and the path the Bride is on. It is equally the process of realizing who we are, and who they are. Even as this process matures in us, so there will be a greater manifestation of the Bride. It is not without reason that the water that flows out from under the eastern gate that goes to the sea of death and heals the sea and causes the fish to live (Ezekiel 47:1-9), starts gradually as a trickle, and ever increases until it is deep enough in which to swim. Even as Neo ever increased from a place of weakness to strength because he began to believe, and as the waters likewise ever increased, so the Bride will increase and gain strength as they believe.
In the martial arts training episode, Morpheus instructed Neo in the importance of believing, saying – “I’m trying to free your mind, Neo; but I can only show you the door. You’re the one who has to go through it,” a message afterwards repeated to him. Later, Neo went back into the Matrix to deliver Morpheus for one reason – he believed he could bring him back. Neo came back to life because Trinity believed he would live, for she was in love with him, and the Oracle had told her that the one she loved would be the awaited one. When Neo was left there in the subway station with Smith, Trinity expected him to run, asking, “What is he doing?” Morpheus replied with confidence, “He’s beginning to believe!” Though not so prophetic as The Matrix, the two sequels more so presented a two-thirds/one-third testimony, the last two movies being almost dead as far as prophecy goes. But there was one great final message in the closing words of this trilogy. They were the words of the Oracle – “But I believed; I believed.”
Let us consider another relevant testimony regarding the purpose and importance of believing. One day Yahweh told me the answer to a question on which I had pondered for some time with no success. I knew the testimony regarding Rizpah (2 Samuel 21) was very significant, the one who sat on the rock from barley harvest until water poured out from heaven on her, guarding the bodies of her two sons from “the beasts of the field by night;” but I could not discern its meaning. Then suddenly, I clearly knew the meaning!
What Rizpah did was precisely what Abraham did when he guarded the covenant parts from “the birds of prey” (Genesis 15:11). Both were testimonies of guarding the covenant parts from the birds by day and the beasts by night until Yahweh could fulfill His covenant, His promise. Then I knew that guarding those parts was simply believing, guarding the truth that Yahweh had given me.
The Remnant truth was given to this man beginning in June, 1994. In the early morning of August 7, Yahweh showed me that I was false Remnant (Christianity’s cream of the crop), and I cried out to Him for a way of escape. He told me to become a Mephibosheth and give all I had gained in thirteen years of ministry to my Ziba (2 Samuel 19:24-30), the man who was persecuting me. That I did, and August 7, my natural birthday, equally became my spiritual birth into the Bride. The Bride work had begun.
Yahweh had told me prior to this that this man was a Rizpah, and that I was to sit on the rock with sackcloth until He poured out water from heaven on me. As of August 7, 2005, the very time of the posting of this writing, I will have been sitting on that rock believing for eleven years. This will now begin my twelfth year; and hopeful the last eleven years have been years of difficulty per an identification with the eleven apostles whose lives were sacrificed for us. Hopefully those years were an intercession that will find their fulfillment beginning in the corollary twelfth year.
It is also worthy of noting that there were in fact two questions I was pondering at that time, both of which I asked out loud to my family. The other question related to Thomas and his statement regarding putting his finger in Yahshua’s hand, and his hand in His side. This again we have seen is the twelfth apostle who comes later and identifies with both works. I trust that these last eleven years have intercessorally been placing my finger in His hand. It will then be time to now place my hand in His side and bring out a bride.
Also, it is noteworthy that the man in The Village who confirmed that it was good for Ivy to go and get medicine from the city, was a man named August Nicholson. We already see the hope for August (and by the way, it was in August that both temples were torn down), and Nicholson means “people of victory;” thus – August people of victory.
There is a critical significance about the trinity of faith concerning which we will now close.
It is seeing/hearing that produces belief,
and
It is believing that produces acts.
Very significantly, something
cannot become reality until someone first sees it. And when they see it, they believe, and when they believe,
what they see becomes reality.
This is why these truths regarding the Remnant Bride have never been seen before now; and in converse, why they are in fact being shown to us now – so they can become reality. And this is why it is so very important that these things be presented to you – that you might believe.
This man believes, and as a Rizpah has believed for eleven years, that there are twelve men out there who are the latter rain twelve apostles. Thus, they will become reality. There are some, beginning with Kyle Nixon, who believe that this man is the twelfth apostle. Their belief makes this too a reality. What I am able to become, is not even wholly determined by who I am. In other words, Neo was “the one,” but it was Morpheus’ belief in him that made him what he was.
Likewise, both the first twelve apostles, as well as the latter twelve apostles, came/come into being because the one believes in them. They do not even know who they are, until the one who is chosen reveals them.
Thus both the twelfth apostle and the twelve apostles are dependant upon others believing in them, even as we saw per Neo and Morpheus. None of us are complete in and of ourselves, but are wholly dependant upon each other.
The mere fact that this truth is being presented now changes things. When Yahshua walked this earth, He did not want others to believe in Him. Constantly He hid who He was. Why? Because if they had seen and believed, it would have become a reality, and that reality was reserved for a time that was yet 2,000 years later.
Yahshua said:
“Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they shall be to you” (Mark 11:24, Matthew 21:22).
He said this, and He meant it.
Only now are we beginning to see what it is that Yahweh is doing. Following 2,000 years of being hidden in the cleft of the rock with His hand over the church, only now is He removing His hand and showing us His back, what He is doing. And it is in seeing what He is doing, that we can by true faith act in harmony with it.
Yahweh has given us sight, that we may believe;
And in believing, we may act;
And in acting, we may see faith become reality.
As in The Matrix per Neo, our hindrance right now is believing. As Morpheus told Neo in the beginning of his training – “I’m trying to free your mind, Neo; but I can only show you the door. You’re the one who has to go through it.” This is the door that the church faced 2,000 years ago, but failed to go through because of unbelief (Hebrews 3:15-19). They refused to enter into the promised land, and have therefore spent the last forty Jubilees in the wilderness. This man cannot make you believe; you have to go through that door yourself. All this man can do is tell you what is real and true. But a door is being opened that no man can close.
In contrast to the others, Cypher did not believe, and wanted his own will at their expense. Cypher’s full name was Louis Cypher, or in clear type – Lu-cifer, who from the beginning in the garden with Eve, has had the express purpose of causing men to not believe. If he can create doubt and unbelief, he cuts short the fulfillment of the promise that becomes reality through living faith.
Thus, Yahweh’s parable via The Matrix has a warning for you – DON’T LISTEN TO CYPHER! In the movie, Cypher killed Apoc and Switch. Obviously “Apoc” stands for “apocalypse,” and “Switch” must mean “a rod.” The best line for Apoc(alypse) was when he said to Neo - "I hope the Oracle gave you some good news.” We indeed have good news, but Lu-cifer will unplug your head if you yield to him – Matthew 13:1-23.
Finally, this movie can be boiled down to two words – love and believing! These were the two prevailing forces that won in the end, overcoming evil, and delivering men from the Matrix. And these are the two forces that will likewise deliver us today.
“In this is love, not that we loved God, but
that He loved us ….”
hearing –> believing –> acting
