Feminism, Democrat Healthcare Reform, and the Curse of 1920

People are completely blind to the certain fatal plight that feminism is now quickly and even exponentially bringing upon America and the entire world. On March 21, 2010, the Democrat House, fittingly led by a woman, Nancy Pelosi (attesting that women are now head of the house), passed a healthcare bill that will help push this nation to bankruptcy. This government healthcare takeover will cost over $2 trillion , money that our nation with its burgeoning debt does not even have.

It is an unusual irony that our Democrat-controlled government is attempting to provide a program to people who cannot afford healthcare, when the government itself cannot even afford to provide the program. Insanely, when our government should be cutting expenses, they are spending more! This move will inherently be as destructive to this nation as welfare has been to the black family. With our skyrocketing national debt, our soon-bankrupt Social Security system, ballooning pensions and unemployment benefits, and fraud-ridden Medicare and Medicaid, the new healthcare takeover will have accumulative deleterious effects. Economists are rightly warning that America is on the brink of bankruptcy, and the main cause, for the states as well, is bloated government and its social programs resulting from feminism. As addressed in The Curse of 1920, the product of feminism is a nanny state, which we are more and more becoming.

The laws and ways of Yahweh God forbid the woman from being equal to the man in governance. First Corinthians 11:3 confirms that the head of every man is Christ, and the man is the head of the woman. When the woman seeks to abandon her place and usurp or be equal to the man, she practices the very curse that came upon her when she sinned in the Garden: “Your desire will be for [the place of] your husband” (Genesis 3:16 and <http://www.remnantbride.com/divorce/women.2.htm#desire>). Today, America is about to be destroyed directly because of the women’s rights movement and all that Eveonian feminism has brought with it, thereupon wreaking like havoc in the entire world.

But today people remain completely blind to the root cause of this imperiling fate. Feminism consumes society to the point that it is possessed with a fetish passion for the equality of women, blindly driving it to self-destruction. This blindness prevents the sober examination of the facts. In order to see the cause of the inevitable destruction that is upon us, all one has to do is look at what was the immediate consequence of women involved in governance.

As addressed in The Curse of 1920, John Lott and Larry Kenny published a report titled How Dramatically Did Women’s Suffrage Change the Size and Scope of Government?, documenting that the costs of government literally skyrocketed immediately upon women getting the right to vote in various states. You can examine this report by clicking here. That which proved to be a failure from its very beginning, is about to come to full fruition and bring this nation and others into bankruptcy. We are feminized to our inevitable ruin!

Adding further foreboding testimony, look at the outcome of Prohibition, which was a women’s issue as well, and came into law the same year women received national voting rights—1920! Prohibition was an absolute failure. The difference between it and women’s right to vote is that its failure was immediately recognized, while the more catastrophic failure of women in governance would not be recognized until much later. Both of these Amendments came into law in 1920, and were both wrong and destructive.

And if this evidence was not foreboding enough, look at the president who was elected into office as soon as women got the right to vote—Warren G. Harding, regarded by many as the worst president in US history; and equally attesting, he was dominated by his wife. It was even alleged that she killed him. Today, as a result of this same Curse, we have a president who is destroying us—Barack Obama. The white man placed the black man into slavery for money. Today, it is a black man who is now placing this nation into slavery to money—debt slavery. Barack Obama is the Curse of 1920 coming to full fruition.

As addressed in The Curse of 1920, as well as in The Temptation of Eve and the Deception of the Nations, America is a repeat of the original Garden, only at the nations level. What happened in the Garden is happening in America. In the original Garden, there was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the fruit of the tree, the serpent, the woman, and the man. From the founding of this nation, we find the same elements:

We must look back at the immediate evil consequences of women getting the right to vote, as well as the deteriorating effects since then, if we are to stop our run-away financial problems that are about to destroy not only this nation, but nations throughout the world. We are like a person who is dying of a disease, and trying to do everything to keep ourselves alive without actually treating the disease. Because of uncontrolled spending, our nation is about to go bankrupt; but it tries to deal with the symptoms and not with the source of the problem—our bad governance of allowing women into the place that is given by God solely to the man. Our nation is being destroyed because we are so fixated on perpetuating the source of the problem—feminism—that we do not deal with the root matter—the woman in the place of the man.

The healthcare bill, just passed exclusively by the Democrats, proves that America continues to be direly affected by the Curse of 1920, and continues to blindly press down this path of destruction led by Eveonian feminism. In his final argument against this bill, John Boehner, the Republican House Minority Leader, invoked the witness of Moses, Blackstone, and Jefferson. But not even Boehner knows the fatal lack on the part of Republicans to respect the counsel and order of those men. Republicans think they can change the tide of this problem without addressing the inherent fate of women in governance; but they will fail because they do not deal with the root cause.

Jefferson wrote that if women were involved in governance, it would produce “depravation of morals and ambiguity of issue.” John Adams equally rejected women in governance. Repelling threats from his wife while he and Jefferson worked to secure the Declaration of Independence, he held that women in governance would produce “the despotism of the petticoat,” against which he hoped “General Washington and all our brave heroes would fight.”

And who was Blackstone that Boehner invoked, and what did he present? Blackstone set forth a treatise on common law known as Blackstone’s Commentaries, which was foundational to the Constitution and founding laws of this nation. What did he believe? He set forth the governmental practice identified as “coverture,” whereby upon marriage a woman’s legal rights were subsumed by those of her husband. What was its source? It was from the first man whom Boehner invoked, and the book he was so much a part of writing—Moses and the Scriptures.

Blackstone cited two terms to describe this governmental relationship between a man and a woman, both of which have their foundations in the Scriptures. Those terms were feme-covert and covert-baron. “Feme-covert” literally means the “covered woman,” and “covert-baron” means the “covering lord,” her husband. But because of feminism and our clear departure from the laws of God, people today wholly reject this to our destruction. Here is what Blackstone wrote, and was explicitly applied by our founding fathers and this nation.

By marriage, the husband and wife are one person in law: that is, the very being or legal existence of the woman is suspended during the marriage, or at least is incorporated and consolidated into that of the husband: under whose wing, protection, and cover, she performs every thing; and is therefore called in our law-French a feme-covert; is said to be covert-baron, or under the protection and influence of her husband, her baron, or lord; and her condition during her marriage is called her coverture. Upon this principle, of a union of person in husband and wife, depend almost all the legal rights, duties, and disabilities, that either of them acquire by the marriage. I speak not at present of the rights of property, but of such as are merely personal. For this reason, a man cannot grant any thing to his wife, or enter into covenant with her: for the grant would be to suppose her separate existence; and to covenant with her, would be only to covenant with himself: and therefore it is also generally true, that all compacts made between husband and wife, when single, are voided by the intermarriage.

What again is the foundation of this legal conclusion? It is the same foundation that was sought in the entirety of the process of the establishment of this nation—the Scriptures. Let us note something at this point that is critical to understanding Yahweh, His ways, what He is doing, and how we must therefore look at things and order our lives. In addition to understanding the breach—how Christianity is a breach in the kingdom of heaven that Yahshua began 2,000 years ago, and must be repaired—it is critical to understand the defining male and female aspects of Yahweh’s works, the impact of these differences, and the requirements that must be respected regarding them.

Briefly, the male and the female differences are the same as the differences between the Creator and the created. We, the created, are the female—the weaker vessel that is easily deceived. This is painfully obvious. Conversely, Yahweh is the male, the covert-baron—the covering Lord who has the right to rule over us. Therefore, we see that the relationship between the man and the wife is the same as Yahweh and us, or even Yahshua and all men—the female is subject to the male, who has the right to rule. Furthermore, every one of us possesses this dichotomy, in that we have a masculine spirit and a feminine soul. And here again, our soul must submit to our spirit. Thus, in every realm the female is always to be subject to the male.

Politically, we find these same two contrasts. The Republicans, who are more rational and law-abiding, are masculine. While the Democrats, who operate off of emotions, want a nanny state, are complainers and criticizers yet constantly justify their own wrong actions, and lust for dominant control, are clearly feminine. Today, we are experiencing the ill effects of this feminine headship. And most certainly, if women were not involved in governance, those politicians would not be there. Today, we are reaping what we have sown!

When we consider the weakness of the feminine in every application, there is a reason why the Scriptures instruct men to “not be embittered against” their wives (Colossians 3:19). And there is a reason the Scriptures give twice as much instruction to women as they do to men. And there is a reason women are not to teach or exercise the authority of a man (1 Timothy 2:11-12).

An example of this consistent replicable male/female relationship can be demonstrated quite simply by replacing the Lord for the husband and the believer for the wife in Blackstone’s expose regarding coverture, which we will here do. Since the relationship in both cases is the same, there should be little conflict in this substitution.

By union, the Lord and the believer are one person in law: that is, the very being or legal existence of the believer is suspended during the union, or at least is incorporated and consolidated into that of the Lord: under whose wing, protection, and cover, they perform every thing; and is therefore called in our law-French a feme-covert [covered believer]; is said to be covert-baron [covering Lord], or under the protection and influence of the Lord, their baron, or lord; and their condition during their union is called their coverture [covering]. We are all too aware that society rejects Yahweh as Lord, and in like regard women are rejecting their husbands as lord. In 1 Peter 3:6 we read: “just as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, you [ladies] have become her children if you do what is right without being frightened by any fear.” This statement with its relational truth is offensive to most women today. But, this in truth reflects our rejection of Yahweh as Lord, no matter how we may try to deny it with our words. This failure is furthermore evidenced when in society and government today men are no longer regarded as its sole keeper, even in the church.

Thus man, the created, has failed in his relationship to his Creator. So is it not surprising that women are failing men today? As the curse upon women attests, they are rebelling against the man and wanting to be equal to him—feminism, women’s rights, women’s equality, casting away coverture, and women usurping the headship and legal rights of the man!

The very thing that Yahweh spoke to Adam when He addressed him for his original sin, men are repeating today—“Because you have listened to the voice of your woman.” What Jefferson and Adams refused to do, men in the 1800s and early 1900s listened to women like Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and others who followed and gave women that which Yahweh God issued as a destructive curse—“Your desire will be for [the place of] your husband.” Thus, we have been paying the price ever since, and all the more so today.

Before beginning these last few postings, I wanted at some point to address the question as to why I, why we, the Bride, keep pursuing our quest, despite disappointments (hope upon hope). The answer? For many reasons, one of which is: Who else has the truth? Does the world have the truth, the answers? No. Does Christianity? No. Name one other rational group that understands how pervasive feminism truly is and that women must not be involved in governance. Name one other rational group that knows this nation has wrongfully abandoned its founding beliefs concerning coverture and must return to it. The world is perilously rushing down this steep slope. The Bride alone has the truth to reveal and correct these problems, so how can we quit? No one else has the answers. Therefore, by Yahweh’s grace we will persevere and succeed.

The way for Immanuel must be prepared by the Elijah Bride, laying down before Him the branches from the head of the palm tree—never before seen truth. Immanuel alone can solve the vast problems of this world. It is presumptuous and egotistical to consider otherwise. Righteousness must be preached, and the divine distinction between the male and the female be honored—between the man and the woman, between political parties and ideas, between our spirit and our soul, and between the Creator and the created. And in all cases, the male must be established as the covert-baron, the covering lord, and the female as the feme-covert, the covered female, coming under the covering and headship of the male.
