Why do we keep meticulously examining the Scriptures and the ways of Yahweh regarding timing?  Because we are seeking to discern and, as much as possible, walk out the kingdom of heaven on earth.  Psalm 90:12 states, “So teach us to number our days, that we may present to You a heart of wisdom.”  These matters we are examining are in the Scriptures because (1) they reveal the ways of Yahweh, and (2) are there for our understanding.  If the people in the time of Yahshua knew what we understand today concerning Yahweh’s timing, they could have known beforehand what was going to happen.  Why would they have known?  Because Yahweh operates out of government and effectual patterns.

Can we then today understand beforehand what He is about to perform?  Only if He is willing, and if we seek to understand His ways.  He calls us to number our days, and based on what the Bride has seen since June, 1994, we can do no less than what we are doing right now.  We have seen too much in this quest, to not all the more give attention to where we are in His timing and works.  Also, the world does not have the answers, nor does Christianity, therefore we must look at things that no one else has ever considered or seen.

Why do we need to understand things beforehand?  Even if it means only to know them at the very time of their fulfillment, as has been our recent experience, it affords the ability to walk in His ways, and thereby receive His fulfillments.  This is extremely important for the Elijah, who, as we read in 2 Kings 2:3, knew beforehand the very day of his ascension, and equally thereby walked it out.  Given this devotion and pressing need, let us briefly address some verses from Revelation that speak of these numbers we have been examining in recent postings.

In Revelation 11:1-13, we find three numbers in use that are prophetically and even numerically identical.  In verse two, we read:

“Leave out the court which is outside the temple and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations; and they will tread under foot the holy city for forty-two months.”

In the very next verse, verse three, we then read:

“And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”

Finally, in verse nine we read:

Those from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not permit their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.

Tying these all together, forty-two months are in fact twelve hundred and sixty days which are equally three and a half years.  They are all the same period of time.  Granted, verse nine says “days,” but prophetically they are still the same.

Additionally, in Revelation 13:3-5, we read that the beast was given authority to act for forty-two months.

First and foremost, in examining this, do not think according to Christianity’s beast teachings and assign this to some fictitious antichrist man who comes on the scene before Yahshua’s return.  That is Christian dung.  Read The Great Tribulation to understand this better.  Their teachings are in fact the very teachings of the beast, whereupon they themselves fulfill their own end-time prophesies.

So, how can all of these prophetic testimonies—forty-two months, 1,260 days, and three and a half days—be the same, yet speak in regard to things that are so totally different—the nations, the two witnesses, and the beast?

The answer is really quite simple, and was introduced in the last posting.  You will recall that Yahshua walked out the three-and-a-half-year ministry period from Atonement, 29 A.D., to Passover, 33 A.D.  That was forty-two months.  Then in the forty-third month He came back from the grave, and forty days later ascended into heaven.

His followers at that time were on the same timeline, but in clear contrast, experienced entirely different results.  Daniel 12:11 numbers their days from the same beginning of Atonement, 29 A.D.; but on the 1,290th day, they effected the abomination that desolated the kingdom by casting lots for Matthias.

Both underwent a 1,260-day period, and both added another thirty-day conclusion, but with completely different results.  Yahshua resurrected at the beginning of that forty-third month, but the apostles failed at its conclusion.  Therefore, the same increment of time transpired for both of them, but with opposite results.

The second point to remember here is that these passages in Revelation are not literal, but, clearly, are prophetic parables.  There is nothing literal about the temple in verses one and two of chapter 11.  There is nothing literal about the two witnesses—being two physical men.  There is nothing literal about fire coming out of their mouths, water being turned into blood, and physical plagues.  There is nothing literal about a three-and-a-half-year drought.  There is nothing literal about a beast coming up out of an abyss.  There is nothing literal about the city being actual Jerusalem where two men would be killed and their bodies literally lay in the streets for three and a half days.  There is nothing literal about an earthquake in Jerusalem and 7,000 dying.  And the third woe spoken of in verse 14 never took place.  Rather, clearly, this entire passage, and all of Revelation, is prophetic.  THEREFORE, it must be concluded that these numbers are likewise prophetic.  So what is being revealed?

As already noted, all of these time periods are chronologically equal, and in fact speak to the same thing.  Yahshua’s ministry period, as well as that of the Elijah, are three and a half years, which is forty-two months, which is 1,260 days.  All of these speak of a ministry period.  So what do we see regarding these three distinctly different subject entities—the nations, the two witnesses, the dead bodies in the street, and the beast?

Let us begin with what we know.  As addressed in Christmas and the Two Witnesses, the three-and-a-half-day period when the bodies of the two witnesses lay in the streets of Jerusalem, is the period of Christianity.  The first Remnant was slain.  These were the ones who had the power to keep it from raining for the entire period of Christianity.

Most notably,  there is a parable regarding how long Elijah prevented it from raining.  In 1 Kings 18:1, we read that it was for three years; yet in James 5:17, it states that it was for three and a half years.  The testimony here seems to be that three and a half is the same event as the three.  Certainly, the three-and-a-half-days ministry period of Christianity is actually three parts—3,000, years.

Also addressed in Christmas and the Two Witnesses, Christianity’s Christmas with their exchanging of gifts is in fact the celebration of the death of the two witnesses, the Remnant.  This subject three and a half days is simply the ministry period of the body of Christ, even as His own ministry period was literally three and a half years.  At the end of that period, the “two witnesses” are called out of death, the second Remnant work is effected, and fire proceeds from their mouths.  Then, at the end of their own literal three-and-a-half-year ministry period, as it is written, they hear a loud voice from heaven saying, “Come up here,” and ascend alive.

In verse three where it says that the two witnesses will prophesy for 1,260 days, this actually speaks in regard to both the former and the latter works.  Remember, these are the TWO witnesses—the first Remnant and the second Remnant.  Their ministry period is breached by Christianity, as we see attested here.  This is likewise the breach work spoken of in Revelation 13:3-5 where it says that the beast will be given authority for forty-two months.  The Rod turned into the serpent.  Again, these equal accountings of time prophesy of the same thing.  They are three distinct works taking place during the kingdom of heaven on earth—olive tree –> lampstand –> olive tree.

How then does this apply to the nations?  Of course the nations have had authority on the earth for 6,000 years, even over the Son of God when He came.  And if they ruled over Christ, how much more have they ruled over the body of Christ?  Thus it states in verse two that they were given the authority to “tread under foot the holy city for forty-two months.”  This, again, is the kingdom.  And the nations have indeed trodden it under foot throughout this breach period.  They have ruled over the church.  Therefore, we see here once again the relevance of this account specifically in regard to the period of the church.

In the last posting, we noted that the literal forty-two months of the first Remnant should have led to a Jubilee, but that Yahweh must have stacked time on the forty-third month, for they failed to enter into it.  The reality is that Christianity was stacked on their Jubilee, thereby annulling it.  Remember, when Yahweh stacks time on a month, a year, or even on 1,000 years, He thereby annuls it (The Great Tribulation).

Let us get to the bottom line regarding this.  What did Yahshua do at the completion of His forty-two months, at the first of His forty-third month?  Most importantly, He rose from the dead and ascended alive into heaven to receive His immortal body.  This is the portal spoken of in the last posting, whereby we, the Elijah, walk out our literal forty-two-month period, and thereupon experience Jubilee, just as Yahshua did so.  He preceded us and set forth the way.

Did the first Remnant experience that Jubilee at the end of their ministry period?  No.  As we have noted, Christianity’s first day of their ministry period stacked on the Remnant’s Jubilee.  So, has Christianity been able to ascend alive at the end of their “three-and-a-half-days”/”forty-two-months” ministry period?  Of course not.  They are the sleeping body of Christ, and are in fact a breach to the work that began at the beginning of the church, the first Remnant.  That former work must be completed; therefore, the second Remnant must now have their literal forty-two-month Elijah period.  And of course, the first day of this work stacks on Christianity’s forty-third Jubilee, likewise annulling it.  Thus we find, with the Jubilee set apart in red:

                   First Remnant                  Christianity                 Second Remnant

                                                                                        1, 2, 3, 4, … 40, 41, 42, 43
                                                1, 2, 3, 4, … 40, 41, 42, 43
        1, 2, 3, 4, … 40, 41, 42, 43

As you can see here, the first Remnant’s Jubilee was annulled by stacking, then Christianity’s Jubilee was annulled by an equal stacking, so that Jubilee can finally be fulfilled with the consummating work of the second Remnant.  Remember, the annulment of these two preceding Jubilees is because it has not been time for Jubilee for man.  This is how Yahweh makes a promise, and is able to fulfill it later—He stacks time.  Once again, this Jubilee was set forth by Yahshua, began with the first Remnant, breached by Christianity, and will be fulfilled by the second Remnant.  Today, we can now ascend alive and receive our immortal, incorruptible bodies.  But it is important to note that this could not take place until this consummating Elijah work.

Now you can better understand why these like prophetic numbers—1,260, forty-two, and three and a half—were used in the parables of Revelation 11 and 13.  They spoke to the ministry periods of the three parts of the church.  Seeing this clear testimony, let us now take this to a higher degree of fulfillment.  Remember, patterns are replicable, and whatever works on the micro level, equally applies to the macro level.

First introduced in The Issue – II, page 12, we have seen that Yahweh’s creation week is 49,000 years in duration.  However, since He stacks time so that the sabbath is delayed, 7,000 years are lost/annulled, making the 49,000 years an actual chronological 42,000 years, with the 43,000th year bringing Jubilee.

However, one of the truths Yahweh recently taught us evidenced that He would not declare Jubilee at that time.  We learned that the Pentecost we added to Tabernacles was not after one count of forty-nine, not even after two counts of forty-nine, but after a completed trinity of three counts of forty-nine.  Trinities are VERY important in the ways of Yahweh, in everything from the trinity of faith, to the 3,000 years given to the church, to the trinity of God.  Also, remember that a forty-nine is governmentally equal to a forty-three.

Therefore, if Yahweh does not fulfill a Tabernacles Pentecost until the culmination of three complete waiting periods, then would He not do likewise with His ultimate Jubilee?  Certainly, these three forty-twos that we just examined relative to the first-resurrection Jubilee, indicate this to be the case as well.  Therefore, the highest Jubilee we can anticipate for all creation will not come in the 43,000th year from creation, but in the 127,000th year.

        42,000 + 42,000 + 42,000 + 1

Again, the “1,” in red, marks the Jubilee.  And remember, the church is the kingdom of heaven, and what we are seeing evidenced here is the like period of time given to the church—three parts.  This would not only be consistent, but seemingly essential.

Therefore, if this is indeed Yahweh’s macro plan as far as we can see and anticipate at this point, what testimony do the Scriptures provide concerning the number 127?  First, quite affirmingly, Genesis 23:1 tells us that “Sarah lived one hundred and twenty-seven years.”  This is significant because Sarah is the type of Jerusalem above who births all men into immortality.  When man is born from above as spoken of by Yahshua in John 3:3-6, he is born of Sarah—the mother of us all.  In Galatians 4:22-31, Sarah, who birthed the son of promise, is contrasted to Hagar, who birthed the son of the flesh.  While Paul used this contrast to address the issue of the law, it is even moreso the contrast between that which is born of this flesh and that which is born from above.  This is the same contrast John the Baptist made: “He who comes from above is above all, he who is of the earth is from the earth and speaks of the earth.  He who comes from heaven is above all” (John 3:31).  As with Rebekah, we must all, at some point, be brought into Sarah’s tent (Genesis 24:67).

The other place where 127 is used is in the book of Esther.  We read that the kingdom of King Ahasuerus was comprised of 127 provinces (Esther 1:1, 8:9, and 9:30).  This too is quite significant since King Ahasuerus is a type of Yahshua, or frankly even the Father, who marries the Bride type, Esther.  When Mordecai wrote the edict that delivered the people from death and sealed it with the king’s signet ring, he then sent it to the 127 provinces, “words of peace and truth” (9:30).  Therefore, 127 is the number that accounts the expanse of Yahweh’s own kingdom, which is created over a period of 127,000 years, the 127,000th year marking His trinity-delayed Jubilee.  May the Elijah work be “words of peace and truth” that resonate to 127,000 years.

There are two other forty-twos in the Scriptures that should be addressed, providing affirmation to the meaning we are seeing here regarding this number.  In 2 Kings 2:24, we read that there were forty-two lads who were mocking Elisha and thereupon slain by two female bears.  Of course here we find this relevant number, forty-two; but what the lads were saying is remarkably relevant.

We know that the Jubilee promise relative to the forty-third month is to ascend alive.  What did we have in play here?  With the forty-two lads, Elisha would have been the ascending forty-third.  It is therefore quite revealing that the taunting of these forty-two lads was: “Ascend, you bald head; ascend, you bald head” (vs. 23).  With this taunting, he cursed them and they were all killed.  The forty-third, the Elisha, indeed prevailed!

One other place where the forty-two is found is in the genealogy to Yahshua.  In Matthew 1:17, we read:

So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; from David to the deportation to Babylon, fourteen generations; and from the deportation to Babylon to the Messiah, fourteen generations.

The account here of 14 + 14 + 14, or forty-two, once again testifies to a waiting period.  Did Yahshua bring Jubilee as the attested forty-second?  No.  Men have died ever since, and no man has ascended alive.  Governmentally, if He had been the forty-third, undoubtedly this would have been different.  This is the same governmental truth in that He was crucified in the last year of the eightieth Jubilee waiting period from the fall of Adam.  Again, this was one year short of Jubilee.  In both cases, we see evidenced that He was early, before the time, even before the time for man’s first-resurrection Jubilee.  His coming early as Yahshua (Yahweh savior) evidenced coming short of the much needed results, and thereby could not fulfill His promised coming as Immanuel (God with us).

And as a reminder and conclusion to this subject truth, and addressed in “The Sabbath Rest,” 1994 was the completion of nine periods of 430 years from the Genesis 15 covenant with Abraham.  The testimony we have seen is that, at that time, I received that legal promise of the forty-third, but it too breached.  This year, 2009, evidences to be the repairing of that breach and the fulfillment of the promise—Jubilee, the rights to ascend alive.  So may it be.
